GALATAPORT OPENED

Galataport, which gives life to the 1.2 km coastline that has been hidden behind old warehouses and customs borders for nearly 200 years, from Karaköy Pier to Mimar Sinan University Fındıklı Campus, was opened to the public as of October 2021. As the NA Lightstyle team at Galataport, we have been involved in the project since March 2017.
 

Galataport Istanbul, meeting with visitors as of October 28, 2021, provides a “living” healthy and safe culture-arts, working, shopping and eating and drinking experience by hosting all the opportunities and cutting-edge technologies that facilitate daily life with digitalization in the center of the city. It offers a breathing ecosystem to its visitors with its many features such as its architecture in harmony with the historical texture of the region and alternative transportation opportunities.
 

The project design process of Galataport Istanbul, which has been working since March 2017 and carried out in partnership with Doğuş Group and Bilgili Holding, was carried out under the coordination of Tanju Özelgin and Arif Özden, who undertook the design consultancy. The lighting design and consultancy of the façade, landscaping and common areas of Galataport, a neighborhood of Karaköy, intertwined with the sea, was worked on by NA Lightstyle.
