ALMA RESTAURANT SIDE

Alma Restaurant, which presents selected special recipes of Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine with a different menu every day and aims to provide a unique gastronomic experience to its guests with an example of local production, opened in Side, one of the ancient regions of Turkey. The interior and architectural design of the project were completed by KUD Design Studio and BBA Architecture & Design Studio, and the lighting design of the restaurant was worked by NA Lightstyle, whose construction and project management was carried out by Botam Yapı Group.

Alma means "soul" in Spanish. Since light is also an energy that gives life to the space and reveals the architecture, the starting point of the lighting design was its "soul".

The restaurant, which will be used more actively at night due to the Mediterranean climate, has been planned throughout the process with the aim of reflecting this spirit in a sustainable way as well as being a part of the brand identity without any chance of coincidence.

The light design that welcomes its guests from the entrance and is in touch with the characterful architecture, the warm romantic sunset colors of the Mediterranean, the timeless, simple, elegant and hospitable feeling, and the business approach that overlaps with this feeling leave lasting flavors in the memories throughout the night.

The subtleties of the proposed lighting setup and its role in the space were implemented in a very short time, with great care and determination, by the professional construction team, who had experienced this before as well as the architectural team.
